AZ S.p.A. Management specifies and makes known within the Company the HS & Quality Policy through:

• HS & Quality Management System Manual (MGI),
• internal company procedures,
• personal commitment and constant presence in company activities and business problems.

AZ S.p.A. proposes ("mission") to maintain and consolidate a position of leadership and reference on market of grinding machines with high tech content that traditionally design, develop and manufacture; the company also carries out after-sales activities on its machines.

The goal of the company is the complete satisfaction of needs and expectations of customer / market by achieving the established economic objectives through its activities, while ensuring the protection of the health and safety of workers, without any compromise.

HS & Quality Policy can be summarized as follow:

• for each activity, Identification of significant environmental and safety aspects to prevent and minimize impacts
• Full compliance with all mandatory requirements and applicable legislation on HS in the workplace.
• Exact knowledge of product quality, their use and the market.
• manufactured products must be in accordance with the highest quality and safety levels required, must comply with the specifications, laws, applicable national and international regulations, as well as the customer's expectations.
• The products and services created must be offered at competitive prices and they have sold at a price that allows Company to earn.
• Maximum commitment to guarantee the safety and health of workers in all environments, in order to prevent accidents and occupational diseases, identifying the most significant aspects for each activity to prevent and minimize risks.
• A constant research for innovative solutions must be carried out which allow to achieve continuously better quality levels, at economically competitive costs, without compromising on safety.
• Compliance with the specifications and requirements must be verified and documented by the various competent company functions, by HS Dpt. and by Quality Assurance Dpt. according to pre-established plans.
• The results of the checks must be submitted to the CEO in order to guarantee and document the suitability and continuous improvement of the effectiveness of MGI.

• Any anomalies must be analyzed and the relative corrective measures prepared.
• Continuous involvement, motivation and empowerment of all functions at all levels, regarding the quality of the work and the level of safety during its execution, in particular of HS Responsible for what has been done.
• A careful analysis of the customer's solvency must be carried out before starting a negotiation, and payments must be monitored before proceeding with further commercial relationships and before granting further credit.
• All changes necessary to reduce fixed costs must be implemented.
• Satisfy customers by satisfying themselves; doing good job rightly paid.

CEO is responsible for HS & Quality Management System; company management structures, Quality Assurance Manager and HS Dpt. implement HS & Quality Management System.

Company Management review the company policy on annual basis when HS & Quality Management System Review activities are carried out, in order to verify its adequacy. The "specific" company goals are subjected to periodic updating; they are also defined annually and shared to all employees.

The HS & Quality Policy is also issued as an autonomous document and shared on Company network, for its widespread understanding, implementation and availability to the relevant parties.
