Standard steadyrests supplied with AZ crankshaft grinders are of the dial-o-matic type. This means that the steadyrest may be used for centering adjustments as well as supporting of the work during the grinding process. The picture at the top shows views of a typical design. The parts with numbers designations relate to the support function of the steadyrest and the letters denote those components that comprise the indicator portion.
